Although he is my own personal JC, I saw him back in November 14, 2001 and that was enough. I just watch clips of the 75/76 tour on youtube now - and I wish I could have seen one of those shows. Somebody Touched Me (acoustic) It Ain't Me, Babe (acoustic) (Bob on harp) It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) (acoustic) Searching For A Soldier's Grave (acoustic) (Larry on mandolin) (song by Johnnie Wright, Jim Anglin and Jack Anglin) Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum Just Like A Woman (Larry on pedal steel and Bob on harp) I'll Be Your Baby Tonight (Larry on pedal steel) High Water (For Charl

I have always thought that a good many of the people here learned about Wilco through Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and did not bother to go back from there - or did not like what they heard.

I seldom play the album that is on -

I wish the hatch would not have gone away - I liked that place. I would actually like to live in one of those. Wonder what happened to the food drops? Their shelter is now gone - unless they start using one of the other ones.

saw this on billboard this morning: Sonic Youth principal Kim Gordon will offer the U.S. premiere of her film, "Perfect Partner," and participate in a live performance of the soundtrack this Friday (Oct. 27) and Saturday at Montclair State University in Montclair, N.J. Gordon will be joined on stage by her husband/Sonic Youth partner Thurston Moore and longtime collaborators Jim O'Rourke, Ikue Mori and Tim Barnes for the screenings. "Perfect Parter," which Gordon assembled in tandem with artist Tony Oursler and director Phil Morrison, is a road movie reflecting her obsession with the ad co

I know - I was a teenage juvenile delinquent.

We also use to break Def Leppard albums.
-
I recall that we use to go into record stores and lean a little to hard on Duran Duran albums.
-
I pretty much refuse to do that until I have to - and since the place I get stuff from does not really offer very good service anymore - that may happen sooner than later. I hate ordering stuff.
-
I went through the same thing when the Born To Run dvd came out. Like I have said - I think they really only want to carry stuff that young people/soccer moms/pressed kaki dads are going to buy.
-
ME too I still have the tape I got in LA - back in 1985. The rhino re-release has a whole cd of bonus stuff.
-
Make sure you call someone - and let them know how you are feeling.
-
I am still waiting on the fookin place where I buy cds to get it in - crazy.

I just watched last week's episode before tonight's episode. I wonder if they shall ever show us how John got in the wheelchair. Tonight seemed to be all about action. I find it interesting that the people from the plane treat the others with malice and bodily harm - and the others do not treat them the same. I suppose this is an experiement. As I recall, Ben said they were going to be there for 3 weeks. I wonder who the dude is that they appeared on the monitor at the very end of next week's preview? It's called Daybreak.
-
I'm one of those dudes who stands with his arms crossed - but that is because I am waiting for the next magic hour.

You know, on Crowesbase they have this deal called "C H R I S ' I S M" - maybe we could have such a thing someday - and then people could just read something Jeff said at a show - instead of tracking down a tape of it. http://www.crowesbase.com/tapelisting.cfm?TapeID=1754

Indeed I should have mentioned that Electric Warrior is the only true re-master - the other ones have been re-issued by Rhino, but they are the same as the Edsel or whatever record company they were released on some years ago. Electric Warrior certainly sounds the best - now. The T.Rex album and the ones before it have been re-done - but are only available in the U.K. - as far as I know.
