True story...."One Wing" is playing at the grocery store this afternoon...I'm humming a little bit and this chick asks me who it is. Naturally, I proceed to tell her briefly about the band and before you know it, we're having coffee next door and plan on meeting again this weekend. ...I thought this shit only happened in movies. Vanda and Young's genius struck the late 70's and was overlooked and extremely underappreciated....Flash and the Pan's first two albums.. S/T and "Lights In The Night" are responsible for my love of indie music...probably unlike anything you've ever heard before... -

kinda surprised that "Communique" hasn't been mentioned...the first half of this record is probably their best stuff....at least in my opinion anyway.
