Man what a fantastic weekend. Less Than You Think as an opener on Sunday! I about soiled myself. Red Eyed and Blue and Pot Kettle Black were nice surprises too. California Stars, Hummingbird, Side With The Seeds....My life is complete. Awesome setlists both nights.

I was in Y last night and when we stood up the top of the balcony almost cut off everyones head in our view. I think the balcony is the place to be unless you have really close floor seats. I left during Outtasite last night and caught Jeff coming out the back. There was absolutely no one back there. I was just chlilin talkin to the driver, he's a runner for the stagehand company that does ryman shows and hes kind of a friend of my roommate who used to work there. But yeah no security, no giant crowd of people. Jeff just came out and got in the car and left. He did it quickly so I didn't reall

Well I'm 26 and SBS is probably my favorite album. A Ghost is Born is a close second. And I love Wilco the album. I agree that "The Album" is more like a collection of songs rather than an album that kind of sets its own tone collectively, but I think SBS does that beautifully. -
so i left during outta site outta mind and went around back at the ryman to catch jeff getting into the car to leave. there were barely any people back there i was surprised. anyway he got straight in the car and dipped out. but hey i got to see him up close at least. awesome setlist tonight i was so happy to hear Poor Places as the second song. One of my favorites. Can't wait for tomorrow!!!! Does Jeff ever stop and sign something for a fan? I don't want to bother the guy but if I have the opportunity to ask I couldn't pass it up. I'd just like to shake his hand even.

Same here I play drums in a band and I also play some guitar and piano in my spare time...I write songs occassionally but I know the lead guitarist/singer is just miles above me in songwriting skills and I can appreciate it. So he brings a song in....me and the bassist contribute to structure, vocal harmonies etc. Or maybe we'll chime in with something like hey it would be cool if we got real quiet right here and went from the A minor to the G or whatever. But the song he brought in was pretty much already a song. I would imagine its similiar in Wilco but who knows.

The reason I started listening to Wilco is because I had a friend who I used to hang out and smoke pot with...We were sitting in his car and I was introducing him to Hail to the Thief and he played me A Ghost is Born. I'm a Radiohead nut as much as I am a Wilco nut, as in I don't go posting on message boards for any other bands except Wilco and Radiohead. Since I'm such a huge fan of both its easy for me to see why people compare them...They both have done extrordinary things with rock music. Radiohead records, much like alot of Wilco records for me, take awhile to soak in. If you aren't a Rad

I'm going to both nights with two friends. I live here in Nashville. We are definitely gonna try to hang around before the show to try and catch the band out back or something. I have a friend who used to do stagehand work for the Ryman so he knows alot of the guys that work there I'm hoping he'll be able to get us some bonus access

This is awesome. I saw Radiohead at Merriweather a few years back I won pit tickets on the radio. Best show i've ever seen. I hope someone records this and we can get mp3's online. Same with the letterman concert. lol art of nowhere -
Anyone know if someone has ripped this into mp3's? I'd kill to get this on my ipod.
