I'll be there just for tonight's show. Ryman has posted a lot of info via Twiter. 1. No opener, show at 7:30 sharp. 2. There are two different Hatch prints, and they posted a preview. https://twitter.com/TheRyman
It looks like there's a few others with other Nashville musicians: This one has Fleming & John (Carpenters-esque duo)
And this one has ks Rhoads & Among Savages:
I dig it!
Pat & John are in the new episode of a YouTube series called "Find the Beauty". They have 48 hours to remake an old song and make it sound cooler. Pretty interesting. Here's the link:
I'm pretty late to the War On Drugs train, but local Nashville station Lightning100 has been giving them a lot of air time lately and I'm digging it. What should I start listening to as a new fan?
Yahoo Music (weird, I know) posted an interview with Rhett a few days ago: https://music.yahoo.com/blogs/yahoo-music/old-97-frontman-rhett-miller-shares-musical-memories-223049659.html
I was just reminiscing about this set. We had really good spots in the crowd and were able to see very well. "Passenger Side" was the standout for me that night.
