Americans like things that taste good too, and variety. For some reason, the idea of eating the same thing with every meal is anti-American. But still, I'd say cost is the biggest factor to why we are so unhealthy as a whole. For many, price isn't an issue, and that's where youget into choice. And finding the reasons why people choose to eatthings that are bad for them is a task far greater than this board can handle. Getting people to eat healthier on the whole would require a massive restructering of our agricultural system.

The resources are not available at this time to Mass produce healthy, natural, 'alive' food at a feasible cost. There's a reason the foods that are cheapest are the worst for you.
