I'm all kinds of excited about this. I still listen to their albums every once and a while and they still do it for me. Yeah, it's dumb and sophomoric, but what's wrong with that? It's outstanding pop music. I would say they are more my generations The Cure, or something along those lines. Fantastic pop music. I'm sure that might ruffle as many feathers as the Beatles comment, but whatever. They were heavily influenced by the Cure and I don't think it's that far off. Maybe 10 years from now it won't be embarrassing to say you loved Blink when you were young.

Oh man, Nas performing with the Beastie Boys had to be one of the top moments of the festival for me.

I don't get the hate for Carrey, honestly. I know he mugs it up for the cameras a lot, but come on. The man was in Dumb & Dumber. If you can't appreciate that, then there's something wrong with you. I too think The Truman Show is his best movie. I'm surprised Beltmann likes it so much, but now I feel validated when it comes on TBS at 2 in the morning and I watch it until 5 am with commercials.

I was just noting that if a player touches an umpire it's unquestionably a suspension, regardless of whether he apologizes or not. Not saying the ump should be suspended, but leyland and ordonez had every right to be upset, in my opinion, because if either had done that it's be a suspension. I was responding to cryptique saying that he was being a crybaby' who demanded coddling. I think that is ridiculous to say.

Can't post the videos from my phone, but he was arguing balls and strikes, got tossed and then there was the typical 'in the face argument' that normally wouldn't warrant a suspension, except that the hats touched. I just don't get how magglio is being a 'million dollar crybaby'. It is understood that players do not touch the umpires, so the same standards should apply. I don't think it's wrong of magglio or leyland to make that point known.

Lebron's a guy people want to play with, and not just because he's good. I don't think Jordan was ever a 'good teammate' except that he was the best player ever. Not only is lebron an amazing player, but he's got a great personality, and no matter where he goes, people will want to play with him. Kind of like shaq the first two seasons with any given team.

Yeah, i've always said magic comparisons made more sense than jordan ones for him. He sees the court better than anyone.
