  1. I was listenin to the radio today and they played the clip. He said 'i never slept in the same bed, but I don't see why it would be a problem if I had' (paraphrasing).
  2. well there's no response to that. He always said he didn't share a bed with them, but nobody is going to believe that, so he's guilty no matter what (though strangely enough in a court he was found innocent. Huh.) whatever. awesome.
  3. so that means he fucked little boys? I think maybe you haven't read any of mynposts in this thread, as I said the same thing earlier.
  4. oh come on, you know when you hear 'billie jean' in a commercial you start dancing. I hope you never serve on a jury.
  5. he pretty consistently said that they didn't share beds. He said it wouldn't have made a difference if they did, but as far as I know he always said they never shared a bed. I think with how honest he was about some stuff that most people would consider pretty fucked up as is, not sure he'd lie about that detail.
  6. He was so widely held to be guilty in so many people's minds that if you don't come out and sy 'burn in hell, freak' you look like you are defending a pedophile.
  7. he was also acquitted when another charge went to court and the father Of the original accuser was recorded as saying he was looking to take him down and get his that he didn't care what would happen. He was probably too trusting of people, and he probably behaved in a way that most of us would find innapropriate, but I don't think it was sexual in nature because I believe he was innocent, and not necessarily in the legal sense. I think he was too close and friendly for an adult/child relationship, but there are so many children who have denied it that I tend to side with them. Ithink the ev
  8. IHe was so unbelievably talented, and I was waiting for the 'comeback' that would blow people away but it never came. So sad and so unexpected. Listening to those Jackson 5 songs, his voice stands out so much, it's really incredible. don't think I believe the child molestation accusations, or what it's worth.
  9. Went to the game last night and the marliba actually won. First time since last august that we win a game I go to. Man, the ball really jumps off Weiter's bat.
  10. Rob Thomas will be above them. Brad Paisley and Bone Thugs n' Harmony might be too.
  11. I might go to the game tomorrow or Thursday night to catch Matt Weiters in person (and see if we can manage to hold a lead for once!)
  12. "99 Kriegsminister Streichholz und Benzinkanister Hielten sich fuer schlaue Leute Witterten schon fette Beute Riefen: Krieg und wollten Macht Mann, wer haette das gedacht Dass es einmal soweit kommt Wegen 99 Luftballons" On my binder in 9th grade when my friend stole it. He also drew a dick. "Ron Raul '08" Outside of my dorm last year. Guess they didn't know that "P" and "R" aren't the same thing.
  13. I just really can't get past the new look, doubly so since it's practically useless on the iPhone.
  14. No complaints about going 6-3 against the AL East so far. Let's take 2/3 from a hot Orioles team and we'll be good. 3 games back in the division right now.
  15. As I read that he hit a homer. Awesome.
  16. he looks good for sure. No idea what happened to him this year. Also, why the hell are the red sox complaining about losing a game because of rain? It happens.Has it never rained in Boston before between April and September. I'm sure if they had been up 2-1 they wouldn't be complaining.
  17. most of their last album, for one. Specifically the single 'always' and 'all of this', which Robert smith sings on. They've always claimed the cure as a major influence. I think Tom more so than mark, because mark always seemed like the sugary pop guy (though plus 44's album had a lot of 80's synth pop influence.) I don't hear a ton of The Cars in them, really.
  18. The Marlins had been doing better until the stupid Red Sox.
  19. Jay wasn't nearly as tight as Max, but it brought an infectious energy to the whole band as they tried to keep up with him. He reminded me of Dave Grohl in both looks and sound.
  20. Apparently their set on the Sonic Stage at Bonnaroo was their first performance ever. Was supposed to be only half an hour, but Gomez cancelled so they played a full hour. Really liked the songs I heard.
  21. I'm trying to get a radio show for the Fall semester on the student radio where I have the DJ's on the station come in, play their favorite album of the decade front to back and then have a discussion about it. I think it'd be a really good show.
  22. My first thought when I saw this thread was "Don't hold your breath for Florida."
