Love it!

Courtney Barnett has a great performance on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert, but her performance on SNL was killer - it's probably somewhere on the internets.

I love the cover art  - it reminds me of the Nancy comic strip.

Muzzle of Bees, but it actually feels like a late summer, early autumn feel.

I'm anxiously waiting for the big comeback of 8-track tapes and quadraphonic sound systems.

I always loved the album Fully,Completely (Courage, Locked in The Trunk Of a Car) , but my favorite is a live version of Springtime In Vienna on the album Live Between Us. So much sad new in the music world this year.

Funny you should say that it feels like an EP. I'm dating myself by saying this, but Sgt. Pepper and Ziggy Stardust are only 5 - 6 minutes longer than Star Wars. I know that was more due to the available time length of the commonly used media at the time. But I like it's length because it feels like one (long) song to me - kinda like Thick As A Brick.

OK I created a Photobucket account, uploaded a picture, went to upload a picture on a reply to the Via Chicago message board, pressed the image button, got the dialogue box to type in the URL from Photobucket, copy & pasted the URL in, hit OK and the dialogue box just freezes.

Any suggestions, what am I not doing right?

A Ghost is Born is still the gold standard for me.

I think most music critics would agree as they many seem to be saying the same thing - namely that Star Wars is Wilco's best album in the last ten years.

I think there is a video (maybe on YouTube?) of JC Brooks performing this at SS II and Jeff joining them on stage for the song.

This is just too weird....

Don't know if this is really out and about, but..

I have a lot of cookies or trackers (even though I supposedly don't accept them)  that watch what sites I visit (like Amazon) and in turn place ads or suggested posts on sites like Facebook, the Weather Channel, & Huffington Post.

That's fine, I don't really care, but it becomes a little surprising when I want to find out if it's going to rain today, and see our beloved Star Wars kitty-cat blinking back at me on a banner over the current temperature on the Weather Channel site.

I've grown to expect to see ads for a mouse or an ink cartridge that I'm shopping for appear on these sites , but find it a bit unnerving to see an ad for a Wilco album!

Boy, the internets sure have changed in the last few years...

I see on the store site they announced the first winner, but not who would have won on 08/06/15.
