I thought that too looking at the poster. I think this was the beginning of the end: I went to see this.

Saw this a long time ago, still think about the great line in the opening scene at the car dealership, after the dealer asks Dreyfuss how much he wants to pay. "How much do I want to pay for this car? I want to pay nothing."

Didn't that happen? With Quentin Tarantino as Elvis?

Many people are interested in the events of two groups - the people they know and the people they've heard of. The second group is not limited to performers. If this story involved Kofi Annan, it would be reported on. If it involved Jon Krakauer, it would be reported on. This happens to be an actor. This is the way I see it, anyway.

I'm almost 1/2 way through Underworld now - tried to tackle it a few years back, but didn't get beyond the first scene (best book opener ever?). I expect to finish by end of summer. -
Don't know if this was mentioned here already, but Newbury Comics is throwing in an autographed 7 inch with purchases of Fate. http://www.newburycomics.com/rel/v2_viewup...upc=78837711032

I was thinking that too - and Paul Auster. -
Good little imperfect coming-of-age film set in 1994 NYC. Big ups for expressing youthful frustration honestly and for Ben Kingsley hitting a bong. EDIT: One issue - you can't tell me that a 17-year-old white dude in NYC in 1994, who loves The Pharcyde and A Tribe Called Quest, wasn't listening to Ill Communication that summer. Pfft!

Aren't there like 40 different guys in media with the last name Savage?
