  1. God, Maudie. I never heard that before. That's about the greatest thing.
  2. This makes me think instantly of Cleese/Palin's performance of the Dead Parrot sketch on SNL in the late 90s. It was lifeless and awkward. That said, I would not pass up an opportunity to see the greatest comedy troupe of all time live (mostly) on stage. I wonder if they'll take Graham's ashes with them again.
  3. He's talking about Darlene Love's Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).
  4. You have a very memorable username, to me. And I don't think you've posted in years, right?
  5. Not a bad tune. http://www.u2.com/news/title/ordinary-love-lyric-video/ I enjoyed it much more the second go-round, without watching the video.
  6. I think it's a fair comparison, but it stops at the bands' initial impacts upon their respective scenes.
  7. I saw it then too, and my friend and I were in tears laughing at it during the end credits. Then I saw it on cable a couple of years later and was like THIS IS NOT THAT MOVIE ANYMORE. It's really worth another try.
  8. I don't read any posts longer than three lines.
  9. Did Eminem ever decide which Spice Girl he wanted to impregnate?
