  1. My money's on Rick Moranis, as Ringo.
  2. I have that, but it was his own band - Joey Waronker, Smokey Hormel, etc.
  3. What a talent. I was lucky to see him perform at Boston's Hatch Shell when I was very young. RIP
  4. You know what's kind of good, too, as a topping? Nutritional yeast flakes.
  5. NPR did a story on what you're talking about, and ended it with something along the lines of "there are also reports that there has been software developed." But that was a week ago, and I haven't heard anything since.
  6. Supposedly there's software out there to get around that contract now...
  7. What they need to do is put down iTunes and iPod and iPhone for a second and work on iPhoto's capabilities.
  8. I never eat that crap anyway. A pan, some canola oil, a load of kernels and a mess of heat is the only way to go.
  9. llynnowens posted the winner awhile back.
  10. I kinda like that one the best, too. Talking Book is generally regarded as the king of the jungle among those three, but it's not my favorite, even though it has many, many killers. Stevie, damn! Now I wish I got tix for the Boston show!
  11. Not packed with hits, but this one's fun, and a good example of early Stevie:
  12. Jungle Fever is an underrated gem, also.
  13. "Ladies and gentlemen, I have the pleasure to present on my album, Mr. Dizzy Gillespie! Blow!" Sometimes I forget there are originals on that one.
  14. I'll be mad at myself if I didn't. EDIT: I didn't. Mr. spunky backpack did, though.
  15. "Music of My Mind" works a nice bridge between "Little" Stevie and Stevie the badass.
  16. Here you go, theshua: Little Boxes by The Shins
  17. Not sure about now, but just a few years back he made a live album called Natural Wonder, which included many greats spanning his catalogue. I can't imagine he's doing anything all that different these days, save for one or two from his last album (hopefully he's doing "So What The Fuss" from that). If you're lucky, he'll drop "Ribbon In The Sky" and add "As." Here's a piece that tells you what you can expect: http://www.popmatters.com/pm/news/article/...g-concert-tour/
  18. I'm digging it. Even Chris Martin.
