I can never get the chords right over where they should be, but if you listen to the track you'll hear where they go.

Agreed. I'm not into celebrating anyone's death, so this is weird & it's a strange mix of emotions being stirred up. But there's no denying that he was a force for evil and brought incredible cruelty to so many innocent people, so I can only feel relieved that he has been removed from the world. I hope this doesn't lead to more strikes against the US and its allies, in "retaliation".
What a world we live in.
To all who suffered on 9/11, you're in my thoughts today.
I've never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure - Mark Twain

Zooey may take a somewhat minor role in the COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY Spider-Man reboot.
She is the favorite to play J. Jonah Jameson's secretary Betty Brant (played by the super delicious Elizabeth "You Can Take That To The" Banks) in a supposed 3 way love triangle along with a dyed blonde Emma Stone playing Gwen Stacy instead of redheaded Mary Jane Watson.
Marc Webb (500 Days Of Summer) is directing the reboot due in 2012 in 3D. The Social Network's Andrew Garfield is playing Peter Parker. And Rhys Ifans is playing Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard.
Emma Stone is a natural blonde.

Damon introduced Paul and Mick at the Patriot Center show. They were the only band members he introduced. I thought that was kinda weird, but I guess the rest of the band wouldn't have gotten much recognition. Unless that was Simon Tong also playing guitar.
He did the same in Chicago before Plastic Beach. Simon Tong was also there.

I saw them last Monday, and it was incredible. Mos Def was there, so we got Sweepstakes (which I'm not too fond of) instead of Kids With Guns (which I love,) but that's my only complaint.
Don't Get Lost->Demon Days ending was the best part, I think. I always forget how perfect those songs are too end Demon Days.
Sweepstakes doesn't do a lot for me either. Bootie Brown filled in on Stylo where Mos Def would have been. Ending with Don't Get Lost In Heaven>Demon Days is the perfect way to close not only because they close Demon Days, but the video feed has the cathedral glass with Gorillaz on it.
So were you at the MSG show? I saw the video of Lou Reed doing Some Kind of Nature and it seemed that he wasn't firing on all cylinders.

Absolutely phenomenal concert last night. The visuals behind the band added a lot to the experience. I can't really describe how awesome this concert was.

I consider myself a very lucky Chicago sports fan. I've seen a Chicago White Sox World Series win, six Chicago Bulls championships, the Chicago Bears in the Super Bowl, and now a Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup championship!
Oh, and the sCrUBS hit the century mark.
-
Looks like it was awesome as usual!

They may have already taped it actually. Though most of the interviews on that show are live, sometimes they film the musical acts in advance. I was listening to an interview with John Hodgman, who'd appeared with They Might Be Giants on Ferguson in December, and he explained that they filmed it in the last of week of October. So, yeah, the old One Wing might happen.
I have to admit, I have only been half paying attention on this tour. So, what else from WTA could they do? That they haven't already played on television.
--Mike
This is a strong possibility. In watching the "One Wing" appearance, you can see an acoustic guitar in front of the drums.
-
Probably not until the next album comes out.
-
i would bet Glad It's Over was recorded then too.
It really is time for a non-album rarities collection with all these songs equalized and in chronological order.
Glad It's Over was released on the "Heroes" soundtrack.
