it was indeed! my top 5 shows in order were: 1: the smoking popes 2: nickel creek 3: wilco 4: the new pornographers 5: the raconteurs the flaming lips would be number one had i seen them, i'm sure. i don't think they'll ever clean up all of the confetti.

i think that there may be better uses for stem cells than that.

after seeing these guys at lolla, i'd have to say, i'm completely smitten!

i was fearing for my life after wilco's set....i got kicked in the head by a kid climbing the baracade in attempt to get a setliist and crushed by people demanding little bits of the show (guitar picks, drum sticks, etc). i was trying to grab my purse and get the hell out of there but they all yelled at me to 'get the fuck out of the way if you're not trying to get something'. i hate that stuff so very much. i'm in serious pain from standing all weekend, but i know i'll just do it again.
