  1. My guess is that the shows really were that different. I've heard from a few people who have seen him multiple times in recent years that his shows nowadays are profoundly hit or miss.
  2. Lou Reed is my #1 all time musical hero. This definately warrented a thread, IMO. Awesome story.
  3. What makes you so sure? You aware that Charlie Weis is white, right?
  4. In fairness to the Lions, it wouldn't have been quite that close had Kitna played the whole game. O'Sullivan is simply not an NFL quarterback. That being said, it was just an awful game all around, by both teams. Turnovers and penalties all over the place.
  5. Fucking hell. I was certain the Tigers were gaining a game on the Yanks tonight.
  6. A man in a bar leans over to the guy next to him and says,
  7. Loose Fur - "Laminated Cat" (live) Elvis Costello - "Accidents Will Happen" The White Stripes - "Ball and Biscuit" John Cale - "Dirty Ass Rock and Roll" Flipper - "Life" Yo La Tengo - "Tired Hippo" Smashing Pumpkins - "Where Boys Fear to Tread" Nirvana - "Serve the Servants" (live) Antony & the Johnsons - "For Today I'm a Boy" The Minutemen - "Two Beads at the End"
  8. I don't believe that every team does it, but I think that every team should.
  9. I love him too, as he was a pleasant surprise as a late-April free agent pick up in my fantasy league, delivering a monster year. I didn't know that he only had one ball, but I think that doesn't really affect my feelings for him.
  10. I bet they drink better beer when they're just having one with dinner or anything, but Bud Lite is tops when you're just looking to get wasted.
  11. As of now, their UK tour (scheduled for after the canceled dates) is still on. That could change of course.
  12. The White Stripes - One More Cup of Coffee The White Stripes - Isis The White Stripes - Lovesick
  13. And that's why it's so appalling how poorly the NFL treats the guys who played years ago, abusing their bodies for far less money than the current players are making. A lot of those guys can barely walk five years after they retire. It sort of makes me wonder how people react if football were a new sport just coming out today. I think that if it weren't so entrenched in our culture already, a lot of people would be calling for it to be banned, at least among kids and teenagers. That being said, I loves me some football. Great news about Everett.
