is Merge going to be selling this?

Jeff has performed the Unwelcome Guest at least once.

it's an amazing comic, but the best ever, c'mon. it's not even the best thing Moore's written.
-
I heard this a couple weeks ago, and I have to say, I like him more after hearing it.
-
agreed. fortunately for me, I get to see him with a few of the local acts he's involved with and he's still a hell of a player. (sorry to rub it in)

whether you're fan or not, you can't really talk about influential radio personalities w/o mentioning Stern.
-
he's no longer in the band, because he wanted to quit. until yesterday, he was the musical director for Goldbrick, a theatrical production based on the music of Jon Langford. also, he's been working around Chicago with Baby Alright and Marvin Tate. and he has a new gig coming up @ the Hideout, called Ghost Rest, with Dan Bitney of Tortoise.

I've never seen iCarly, but I get a kick out of The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack and the new Batman:the Brave and the Bold cartoons. both seem extremely kid friendly to me, and I enjoy them very much.

shit. I gotta call my grandpa tomorrow morning to give him the news.

just got my ticket for the show @ Martyrs'. and it looks like Pronto are opening for Tweedy on 3/26 and 3/27, folks going to those shows are in for a treat.

as someone who stuck with them til the end, I think Martin was happier sticking with that "We Care A Lot" sound, than moving forward. if anyone pushed the band into heavier rock, it was Patton. he took a joke and turned it into something great.
-
playing Europe makes more sense for them than playing here, as they were huge over there and they've got be looking at an aweome payday for this reunion. I wouldn't be surprised to see them do Australia and Brazil as well, and still do nothing here.
-
I would travel great distances for this.
-
they went in a different direction when he was still in the band. Angel Dust was unlike anything they had done before.
-
no Martin isn't a big deal, he was kicked out of the band right after they released Angel Dust, and they did just fine w/o him.
-
http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/inde...-reveal-lineup/ I'll be into this if they make some new music together, otherwise I don't think I care. They're one of my all time favorite bands, and I've pretty much loved everything Patton's been involved with, but what's done is done.

The Jayhawks (including Louris, Olson, and related)

yeah, holy crap, I would've loved to see them at the Hideout. -
I went through a period (age 15-23) of seeing them everytime they came to Pittsburgh. it was never a disapointment, these guys always put on a hell of a show.

this is the most important song in America today.
