  1. going over the liner notes in the Wilco Book,it looks like only one of the twelve tracks (Hamami) is the from the dBpm session.
  2. me too. after Ill Communication, I thought these guys would continue to grow and keep making great music, but they've been on more of a downslide ever since.
  3. the Acoustic Guitar Trio stuff is just awesome, get it now! it really is unlike anything I've ever heard before, but then again I don't really know of a lot of guys doing improv/avant garde on acoustic guitars.
  4. there are liner notes (written by Mikael) for all the Wilcobook tracks. I'm at work, so I don't have the book handy, but if nobody gets around to it, I'll look them over tonight and see which tracks are from dBpm.
  5. info on dBpm can be found here http://www.geocities.com/nutnhunee/cold.html the only tracks from it that have been made available are on the wilcobook CD.
  6. nodep5, please analyze me, I feel out of place. I first saw wilco in 1995, have been into them since '96. Summerteeth is favorite album, and yet I love this song, not because they threw in some bleeps at the end, but because it makes me feel something, it hits me with a certain wow factor. according to your 2 Camps rule, this shouldn't be happening.
  7. ever since the first time I checked out Alpha Romeo Tango, I've been looking for a copy of the 10/26/2001 Tweedy/Kotche (the Brown Stripes) show.
  8. this song fits right in with the Wilco Book CD, the studio tracks from the AGIB EP and Tweedy's cover of, "Crack A Smile". I'm loving it.
  9. @ Soma studios, not the Loft.
  10. the recordings are more like evidence than entertainment.
  11. this exactly why we never made the very first available to anyone.
  12. they recorded it in 2003
  13. you'd think the guy who wrote a book about them, would know that this incarnation of Wilco has been together since 2004, not 2005. But then, he's the same guy who thinks that the carousel from, "If That's Alright", is referring to a carnival ride.
  14. also, there's a "You Never Know" 7", that comes with the unreleased track, "Unlikely Japan". http://www.nonesuch.com/albums/you-never-know-unlikely-japan-7-single
  15. probably Centro-matic. definitely not, Courtesy Move.
  16. people are selling used copies of his stuff on Amazon for under $10. everything is there, except for (unfortunately) Palace 1919, which happens to be my favorite release of Jay's.
  17. living in Japan, and contrary to popular belief, he's still playing music.
  18. he's been credited as a member
  19. the July (29, 30, & 31) 2000 run @ the Fillmore, are must have shows
  20. so the Kuzuis are looking to make a new Buffy movie, without Whedon, the cast or any of the characters (with the exception of Buffy) Buffy minus Joss? no thank you.
