this. reminds me of VU. back then it seemed like they were into trying things, testing how songs would turn out. it was an adventure. nowadays, I think they now how everything is going to be played, how it'll all sound, no surprises, no adventure, and that makes me sad. maybe someday they'll get back to this, or at least I hope they do.

unfortuneately, a lot of games are heading in this direction. I'm not a fan.

both were short tours. not the same as being on the road as a career, which is pretty much what Wilco does. there's no secret reason behind his leaving, he just didn't feel like being in the band anymore.
