  1. Try "Wait Up." Check out the IATTBYH DVD for Jeff's solo version. The Gumbopages tab is pretty close.
  2. How about the riffs right after Jeff sings: "When it's hot in the poor places tonight" and the other one after: "I'm not goin' outside" Please?
  3. I know someone has a good tab of this, and it isn't gumbopages...
  4. Sounds similar to this: Jeff Tweedy - Sunken Treasure DADGBE, Capo on 2 This was played at a show between 1/6/03 and 1/9/03 First, the gist of the verse - Fingerpicked |----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| |----------3------------------3------------------3---------------------3---------| |-------------2----2-------------2------------------2---------------------0------| |-------0-----------------0----------0--------0----------0---------0---------0--| |--------------------------------------------------------------0h2----------------| |---0-
  5. Does anyone know the little riff Jeff does after "Cool breeze flows through"?

There's some fills/riffs (whatever you want to call them) that aren't tabbed out on Gumbopages.
  7. Anyone got this figured out?
  8. Anyone have a bass tab for this?
  9. Thanks for explaining that to me. One step at at time, I suppose.
  10. Thanks! But I think my brain just exploded.
  11. This one sounds perfect. One quick question: what scale/key is this? I'm a little new to this music theory stuff.
  12. Oh, I recognize it now. Good luck on that one, lol. Whether or not Jay Bennett was a dick, he was a monster on the keys.
  13. Piano tabs, whoops, sorry. But couldn't you try playing those chords on the piano anyway (just raise everything up 1.5 steps...)?
  14. I'm looking for popular songs that everyone can recognize, and that are pretty thoroughly tabbed out. The songs I like aren't especially well suited to this situation...
  15. Seriously though, GREAT tab.
  16. I need to buy you a beer some time...
  17. I was thinking more 90's alternative.
  18. Pllleeeeeaaaassssssseeeeeeeee.
  19. Easily digestible alternative rock. We jammed a bit on Weezer and the Pixies. The drummer is really good, I'm decent on guitar, as is my friend. Not incredible but "Good enough for rock and roll." The bassist is terrible (not really much of a bassist), but I wouldn't worry too much about that. I have an electric and acoustic (I'm more comfortable with the acoustic), my friend has 1 electric.
  20. So, some of my friends and I decided to jam. Unforunately, we spent most of the time not being able to decide on a song to play (we finally settled on Weezer's "Say It Ain't So," which I'm not crazy about, but suit our purposes). I, for the life of me, couldn't think of a song that everyone would be familiar with, that would be good for 5 people to jam to. We got one drummer, two guitarists, and a bassist. Anyone have any ideas?
  21. I don't know for sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but I have a hunch it is. It's fun to play this one a bit up tempo... ::::::::::: Poor Places ::::::::::: Capo on 3rd fret G D Em C A7 C It's my fathers' voice dreaming of sailors sailin' off in the mornin' For the air-conditioned rooms at the top of the stairs His jaw's been broken, his bandage is wrapped too tight His fangs have been pulled and I really wanna see you tonight There's bourbon on the breath of the singer you love so much He takes all his words from the books that you don't read anyway H
  22. I think I've seen 3 different ways to play this lick, and not all of them require a drop d...
