Well, they're not new, but I just got into the Old 97s/Rhett Miller. They're amazing. The best *new* band I can think of is Under the Influence of Giants. They are awesome.

The song is called "The Man" by Patto. It's from Patto's self titled album. That track, and "San Antone" are the only ones worth listening to off that album. But they're fucking great tracks.

I love the new songs (even On&On). "What Light" is probably my favorite so far. The lyrics are so inspiring. I think that anyone who is an artist/musician can relate to it. The only new song that I have issues with is "Walken." The first time I heard it, I hated it. I still don't like the MP3 I have of an earlier version. But, it's really improved over time. It was amazing at Lollapalooza (despite not being able to hear the horns).
