  1. Setlist(s) taken from watching the live stream. I know there were likely a bunch of people who at least occasionally frequent these parts who were there in person, so hopefully a few of them will eventually chime in. For record-keeping purposes, here were the complete setlists for Wilco and Sleater-Kinney, as played: Wilco A Shot In The Arm Random Name Generator Side With The Seeds One And A Half Stars I Am Trying To Break Your Heart> Art Of Almost If I Ever Was A Child Impossible Germany Love Is Everywhere (Beware) [
  2. Setlist taken from Wilcoworld...just so we don't miss one here. Would be interesting to hear from anyone who was there. It looks like a gorgeous spot to see a show... A Shot In The Arm Random Name Generator One And A Half Stars I Am Trying To Break Your Heart Art Of Almost If I Ever Was A Child On And On And On Impossible Germany Love Is Everywhere (Beware) Box Full Of Letters Born Alone Jesus, etc. Theologians I'm The Man Who Loves You Everyone Hides Heavy Metal Drummer I'm Always In Love Hold Me
  3. Yes, go to the bank before and bring like $100 in dollar bills if you can for tipping. They don't have to be demonic, though!
  4. Cheers! Glad a few people still get something out of them...
  5. Haha! Thanks, man. I'll hold out for at least a little longer, just for you.
  6. Maybe it's just a part of their road management process now (upload setlist to Web site...check!). At any rate, I can feel retirement coming on any day now...
  7. Ditto! Sometimes I feel like half of Wilco’s fanbase are either involved in music production somehow or are musicians themselves…haha. (I am neither, so it’s always interesting to hear the technical aspect of things, even if it usually goes over my head.)
  8. Oh, you know what? I did see another 7” at the table and totally glossed over it. Almost sure it was Half Life on one side, not sure what the other side was. It looked so similar to the bonus 7” included with the pre-orders of LITK that I sort of glossed over it in my attempt to get the split single. Oops! D’oh! They were selling the Half Life one and the split as a bundle as well, if memory serves. I’ll have to grab it at another show.
  9. But of course! Not sure how they’re gonna handle it night to night as the tour rolls along, but it seemed like they had rationed a set number to be sold for this specific show but also imposed no limit on how many you could buy of that rationed amount. Weird. I stopped by the merch stand before the show and asked if there was a limit to how many I could buy. The lady said no, so I bought several because some friends who aren’t able to get to this tour asked me to try and grab one for them if I could. When I went back after the show to try and get one more for another friend who had
  10. Replying to my own post, but in case anybody wanted Sleater-Kinney’s setlist (they played 75 minutes, from 8 to 9:15, with a strong emphasis on their new record Path Of Wellness), here you go: Path Of Wellness High In The Grass Hurry On Home Price Tag Down The Line What’s Mine Is Yours Can I Go On Bury Our Friends Shadow Town Worry With You Reach Out Jumpers Bring Mercy Complex Female Characters Surface Envy Modern Girl A New Wave One Beat> Entertain
  11. Overheard on the way into the first show of Wilco’s much-anticipated, long-delayed It’s Time tour with co-headliners Sleater-Kinney tonight in Spokane: “I’m anxious to see whether Wilco can still rock.” Well, 512 days — just shy of 17 months — since the last time they took the stage together as a band, in Winnipeg, it took all of five songs to confirm that Wilco can indeed still rock. That’s when the band launched into one of the surprises of their first set back — the return of fan-favorite Art Of Almost to the setlist after a lengthy hiatus. And, man, did it sound great to these
  12. Submitted for your consideration: It’s a bird…it’s a plane…it’s The Recapper! and If I was a bird and you was a fish, what would we do? I guess we’d wish for…Recap Nation! Recap Nation! Wouldn’t it be a sensation? and Clap on … clap off…The Recapper!
  13. Can we all get a shoutout for #TheRecapper ? C’mon, people!
  14. Of interest to no one but us two, the “Say It Plain” song seems to have been listed on the printed setlist as “Universe,” so I guess you were right!
  15. Thanks, guys. I know my readership has dwindled to probably tens of people but they’re quality people!
  16. Yeah, exactly! People who don’t keep track at the show as well can’t be (entirely) trusted! I guess this isn’t a problem for most acts that stick exclusively to their setlists, but we know that’s not true with Jeff/Wilco.
  17. Is that the Golden Voyager record that went into orbit? If so, yes.* *only seeking a test pressing only, though.
  18. We really are just two people talking to each other in a vacuum, aren’t we? 🤣
  19. Sir, yes, sir! (But accuracy is important! Requesting that Wilcoworld not use setlist.fm as resource because often there can be inaccuracies...)
  20. A couple of minor corrections for you, just because I know how much you care about these things... -Eric is Jeff/Wilco's road manager, not the owner of the brewery (though maybe he'd like to be!) -I, the #ShowPony , was actually sitting in the second row. -I think the Liam song is called Next Time Around. He has played it on his own IG live stream shows a few times, but I guess it's either newer and/or didn't make the cut for his forthcoming record (unless it has an obscure title that isn't immediately obvious).
  21. The third and final show of Jeff's (Long) Weekend In New England tour — apologies to Barry Manilow — was billed as "An Intimate Evening With..." at the lovely flagship location of the cultish Tree House Brewing Company, and it was nothing if not that. Not only was the setting itself intimate, with only a few hundred chairs set up in a makeshift amphitheater just off the side of the brewery's main building, but if you were so inclined, you could have tuned into The Tweedy Show live stream that started at basically the same time as doors opened and (virtually) hung out with Jeff and his bandmate
  22. Given that I've been traversing winding, darkened two-lane roads in rainstorms for the past two nights and the fact that originally these two shows were supposed to just be one, I figured I would just combine both shows into one hopefully not-too-long-winded recap. I don't often put multiple shows into the same recap, but then again, I don't recall a situation quite like this one before, either. Anyway, I assume that the handful of people who read these won't care too much... Because of the threat of lightning and heavy rain, the powers-that-be at Mass MoCA made the very late call
