  1. That sandwich comment is really funny. Got a large MOV file from the hudband this morning. He was saying there was a no camera policy, which he must have been broken for Acuff Rose. The vid is actually very good. Also says he got into a music conversation with the legendary Dave Hodge and his partner. *(#^&^*& for missing this.
  2. thanks BB. Have fun tonight. Kalle - know Shawn a bit from the Dakota and we had the Beauties open for Luke Doucet in the fall. I hear you're playing Ottawa with Alex (Olenka) and the string section. Have fun too!
  3. stuck in Detroit with the Memphis Blues. Damn. I could have snuck out for this too. But I wonder if this will mean a secret show/appearance anywhere in Toronto tonight? My vote would be the Dakota for an Al Miller cancer benefit. Very good bands (Sam Martin, Catl, Dodge Fiasco, Rattesnake Choir, Beauties) with all kinds of donated merch and silent auctions but I don't think any of those people are connected to the Wilco-TO-Bob Egan group.
  4. Christine Fellows - Femmes de Chez Nous. if I had a vote this is a Polaris winner.
  5. so far - excellent - Dolorean - the Unfazed

  7. Reading that one of the songs has become a strange meme. An increasing number of bands are playing 'Put your Money' as a soundcheck song. Love little things like this, especially when the meme does not include Rick Ashley.
