answering this post with this post I ODed on the 1st 4 songs while listening to their myspace page. Happy to say that the rest of the cd holds up really really well. That song about building an island is fantastic.

Very very good, with a lot of Matt (the lead singer) collapsing into emotional fits about the stage. I like it, but the people I brought to the concert where a bit put off.

Me, I like the first cd the most and it's sorta nice that we all can't agree on which release is best. Sure sign of quality. The Cherry Tree Ep with a Tom Waits like drunken sing along in 'A Reasonable Man' is also worth picking up. You should check out the videos of Vincent Moon. wow, this is about as essential as you can get, and what makes it great is that all of these are unearthed songs by long forgotten artists. I had read about, but never bought the Wayne McGhie CD from 1970/2004 that everyone was reviewing as a long lost masterpiece. Think I'll have to go and track it down now.
