  1. i'm gonna vote for the first time soon! right down the road at the Soddy-Daisy Community Center. yay! i have my card in my wallet and everything!
  2. he's the department head. he can do whatever he wants i guess. and he is an ass. robert(old guitar teacher) even said so. i wrote the dept. head at UTC about the requirements for music education majors....
  3. today is the worst day ever. my new guitar teacher told me that if, halway through the semester, i am not up to his standards he's gonna kick me out. he also said that i should seriously re-think being a music major with the limitations of my right hand. then the lady from tree sound studios called me and said that even with my dad they can't let me go to the taping of the new flickerstick live album, because they would be to liable for me getting into trouble. and on top of it all i'm in the damn library crying my fucking eyes out. fuck it all. admins can delete this if they feel
  4. this one is really silly, because, you know how people will hold the camera out in front of themselves and a friend or whatever and take a picture, well i did that with my dog: and robert
  5. hah. nice. are you living in WV now? cos i am trying to get some money together to go up to NYC over spring break....would be awesome to meet ya!
  6. so, there's a bible store in soddy, and the sign out front says: "crazy slingshot screaming monkeys $4" no joke.
  7. This is for all the Rhett/97's fans in the UK, the Believer is out over there now on Wasse Reocrds, so you should all go get a copy or 7. He's playing an instore (or maybe already played it?) in London today and I'm guessing there will be deveral more this week...
  8. yeah, the crowd was def. younger at the show i saw, and they all rushed the stage to stand in the plaza area, which i've never seen happen at the place they were playing (it was an ourdoor music thing). it's funny because that concert thing is designed with more older people in mind, and some of the looks on thier faces during of montreal's set were hillarious.
  9. yeah, i really liked the dancing and stuff. i was able to get the singer's autograph on the back of a flyer for my sister... she flipped out. it was awesome. he was wearing very cool eye shadow too.
  10. "direct line to the telepathic"- flickerstick "cortez the killer" - neil young "concerto de la auranjez-adiago" - joaquin rodrigo "elogio de la danza" - leo brouwer (as played by robert hansel, the norbert craft version is 5, but robert's is 7:37)
  11. i saw of montreal a couple weeks back, and at first i was a little put off by the stage show, but then i got that "i was never young" song stuck in my head, so i downloaded the album off itunes, and i think it's great. what do you guys think?
  12. we drove by grimey's when we were in n-ville 2 weeks ago today. (we being me, rosie and lynette)
  13. aw!!! that's amazingly awesome

    Love rbally

rbally rules. as do the new wilco songs. "impossible germany" may just be my new favorite wilco song ever.
  17. yeah, when i went backstage right before he went on(i forgot my camera card) the guy brought that guitar back for rhett, and he was like "sarah, can you hold that please?" i got to play with it for a second and everything, i was just like "holy crap!" it was awesome.
  18. he's had that guitar for about 15 years... they've got some tx gigs coming up.
