The guy made educational shows about wild animals. The sad fact is, sometimes people die because of contact with wild animals; this is one aspect of our relationship with them which is as natural as anything else that goes on in these documentaries, and yet it's never shown. While some may consider it morbid, it seems to me an excellent educational opportunity to show kids (and adults) that if you get too close to some animals, they can kill you. Funny, there's a restaurant around here that was recently running a radio ad that disdained the (hypothetical) preparation of lobster on the grill, and then in the same breath tried to push lobster nachos. When I want lobster, there better be some goddamn tortilla chips and cheese, or I'm not interested.

And, more importantly, that they were knowingly risking their lives for the common good (assuming, of course that they are not dirty cops, but that's another issue). I imagine.
