  1. Might I recommend "All the Right Reasons" by the Jayhawks? I was just discussing this topic with friends that are getting married in June.

This was the first song played at my wedding. Harvest Moon was the last song. I have to say that Harvest Moon is the greatest song to hear at any fall event. Hesitating Beauty was played during the garter toss.

  2. Take GOOD care of that, Henry... a good friend of mine got that last fall and it's STILL giving him problems.

Oh god that's reassuring. I hope this thing clears itself up pretty quickly. I may be out of my contacts for awhile but I hope this isn't a recurring thing.

  3. Finished the season with 398 completions, which ranks fourth on the all-time single-season list for NFL quarterbacks... Set career single-season highs in five statistical categories including completions (389), completion percentage (68.9), passing yards (4,806), touchdown passes (50) and passer rating (117.2) in 2007... Set the NFL's single-season touchdown pass record with his 50th touchdown of the season with a 65-yard touchdown reception to Randy Moss, his second scoring strike of the game in the Patriots' 38-35 win over the New York Giants on Dec. 29.

    Please note:

Peyton threw 49 touchdowns in 15 games. And in only 497 attempts. Brady 578 attempts 16 games.

Also with the opportunity to break the record in game 14 Peyton took a knee with the ball in the red zone. Something New England would never think of doing.

Pre-Colts superbowl New England fans (specifically Bill Simmons) called Manning a stats whore. However near the end of the season when Brady was lobbing up touchdown passes from the 1 yard line Simmons and the rest of the Pats fan the same name did not apply.

  4. He ran across the field to shake Coughlan's hand. Was he supposed to do it again?

It just looked to me that they were trying to get him back to the sidelines and he wanted no part of it. I feel his pain though I don't know how many times I've wanted to hit the power button on the playstation when my friends kneel it on me to end the game. I just wonder if he was even on the field for that last play?

Props to New England though...had they not gone undefeated that game wouldn't had been the gem that it was. And that Kevin Faulk might be the second most valuable player on that team.

I find justice in the fact that the Reception came against Rodney.

  5. I agree with the part in bold.

Everyone knows that the losing team in the superbowl has a huge let down the next season. Warner (Rams), McNabb (Eagles) and Grossman (Bears) to name a few. If the 19-0's were not playing by the same rules then Kurt has a legitimate argument. Since Goodell was not able to get the bottom of all this and the Patriots didn't come clean it's time to get Congress involved. Put tax rebates and economic conditions on hold.

Let's face it though had the Patriots not won in 2001 against the Rams we wouldn't have this great quote from Robert Kraft.

"We are all Patriots and tonight the Patriots are world champions"

    Very Rudy Julianiesque

  6. Why couldn't they wait to rehash these Patriot cheating allegations? We could see a Patriot blowout tomorrow with these new allegations. The funny thing is I think they were brought up by a Boston newspaper.

However it is quite sad that the Patriots cheating ruined the career of Kurt Warner. Kurt Warner's career ruined

Anyone find it funny that this Patriot camera man is now a Golf pro in Maui? This sounds like the kind of job given to a person for a promise to keep their mouth shut.

  7. I had this same conversation with a group of co-workers this week. They are convinced that Obama is a muslim terrorist. I spent 20 minutes trying to convince them that the emails were garbage.

The conversation ended with them telling me that "the muslims will consider it a victory if Obama wins". My response was "ah fook it" there's no convincing some people.
