finally we can start talking about LSU/Oregon.

I've come to the conclusion that I might be personally responsible for America's financial woes.

 

1. The IT job market crashed shortly after I finished college and entered that field of work.

Me too. I entered the summer of 2000. Lost my job in November. 3 month severence after working six. Chicago unemployed is a great city until the rent bill comes.

With 4.00/gallon gas around the corner I doubt they will be selling real quick regardless of who the spokesperson is.

This is just confusing to me...why would Cadillac even use Dylan as their guy. It's not like his fans are going to rush out and buy one.

I think the Titans have a real shot at winning the division. The Colts I think will lose 2 more games this season. The division title could come down to the last game of the season. I also think the Titans could be a threat to the Patriots*. A big game like that VY would run all day. Which is good because he has a rag arm.

Nice to see Don Shula making sense today. If Barry's homerun ball gets one so should the Pats. Brillant.

I was thinking this in the shower this morning. Don't forget about the re-vamped Celtics, either. Could be a huge year for Boston sports (more so than it already is).

I can't imagine the arrogance this will create. Boston may try to conquer Rhode Island.

It had been 3 years since The Gourds last payed us a visit. This was the end of a five night stint before a break and back down to the Hill Country. They didn't show any tired legs last night as they proceeded to get the Golden Light hoppin'. They payed quite a bit of new material off of Nobel Creatures. Cranky Mulatto and Spivey were exceptionally good.

I read the multi-instrumentalist Max Johnston is Michelle Shocked's brother and he was also in Uncle Tupelo and Wilco.

He was quite good on fiddle and slide guitar. We visited with several members of the band after the show, who were all very kind in sharing some stories with us.

I saw these guys a few months back in Louisville and I thought they put on a great show. Very entertaining.
