  1. It's under the WereWolph album, scroll the tracks towards the bottom... Death Metal as you've never heard it...
  2. Genius idea... weekend two of ATP next year is going to be curated by those of us who buy tickets!
  3. You lucky buggers The Jam night would be ace... not so keen on the Style Council stuff, but his recent re-workings of their tunes have been excellent live.
  4. One of my greatest gig regrets is not seeing Crowded House live... though hearing the Tim and Neil singing some of the songs is as close as I'm going to get
  5. Not as keen on the version of Handshake Drugs on this compared to the one that finally appeared on AGIB...
  6. Perhaps I've missed this, but couldn't see a thread on it... He's been a bit busy, eight albums worth of material available here: http://www.ryan-adams.com/cardinalRadio.html
  7. Likewise - I wasn't looking forward to this, but it's better than I thought. Some of the songs work acoustically, other not so much.
  8. It's out soon I think - I got it through to review yesterday along with a DVD of the concert too which should make interesting viewing.
  9. Good one that... Been pleasently surprised with this...
  10. Compared with all their previous albums, this one just feels a little lacklustre... the energy and ambition that was their calling card on their earlier releases just isn't there for me. Which is a shame... they kick all kinds of ass live...
  11. Certainly not - I'm a huge fan and there's plenty more on here... Fingers crossed he'll tour the new material, would love to see him solo after catching the Finn Brothers live last year...
  12. Thanks for the Neil Finn info, that should be something! Looking forward to the DVD, that's for sure...
  13. For sure - the work he did with Scott Walker seems to have rubbed off a bit... it would have been a great loss if Jarvis had just disappeared, a great lyricist.
  14. I like it a lot, but I've always been a fan of Pulp / Jarvis... thought he was good on Jools Holland last week too, a rare highlight on last weeks show. It feels like an old fashioned album...
  15. I rather enjoyed that... Next up, the other CD I got delivered today:
  16. Interesting idea... certainly very difficult... 1. Moon On Your Pyjamas: Paul Weller - Wild Wood 2. Heavy Metal Drummer: Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot 3. To Be The One: Ryan Adams - Heartbreaker 4. Any Colour You Like: Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon 5. Lazy Sunbathers: Morrissey - Vauxhall And I 6. Be My Wife: David Bowie - Low 7. Expo '86: Death Cab For Cutie - Transatlantism 8. Prayer To God: Shellac - 1000 Hurts 9. Deep Dark Well: M. Ward - Transistor Radio 10. Presuming Ed: Elbow - Asleep In The Back
