  1. It's really good - got it through on promo last week... reminds me a lot of Elliot Smith
  2. Big fan here too... much prefer his solo stuff to the RHCP material. Shadows is a great album and Curtains too - I picked up a lot of his stuff quite cheap through the Amazon market place...
  3. I don't know much about these guys, but they're playing the ATP weekend I'm going to in May... where should I start with them?
  4. I must have missed this over the weekend - a terrible loss...
  5. I've recently finished watching the first season too... fantastic tv... need to get Season Two on DVD now...
  6. I'd love to see him live... for the ATP v The Fans in the UK this year I voted for him... not sure many others did though would be great to have him come over.
  7. Definitely - that's what surprised me too, lots of tunes and it doesn't drag... great stuff.
  8. I might get some stick for liking this, but I really, really do
  9. Finished watching: Last night - not a bad first season at all. Think it really found it's feet towards the end and even encountered a bad guy that reminded me of The Master a little bit... though the ending of the season was a bit corny, it was thoroughly watchable.
  10. The device does look very cool... the interface looks smooth and easy to use, but then it is a rendering and not the actual device. Not sure how all those facilities will work on real networks though, like going to individual voicemails etc... no details on network or price info for the uk yet but we've got to wait till the end of the year anyway.
  11. Thanks I bought the EP and enjoyed it - it is laid back, but then I think that's what they went for.
  12. Oooooooo.... I'm so looking forward to hearing that... is it any good?
  13. Great, great program, though it does go steadily downhill after the first series... great stuff. Went to see Pan's Labyrinth on the weekend... what an amazingly dark, haunting and twisted "fairy tale" that is. Based during the Spanish civil war, just after the end of WWII, it's about a little girl finding a labyrinth closer to her new adoptive fathers home, who is a captain of the spanish army... a lot more gruesome in places that I'd originally though, it's in spanish with subtitles... I'd recommend anyone to check this out - it's not for kids.
