Went to see this on Sat night. Now, I'm not a fan of Keira and she's a bit wooden in this, but James Mcavoy is fantastic. I'd read the book previously so the "twist" wasn't a surprise. But it was well made, not sure I'd go as mad for it as some of the critics, but still a good film. In fact the best thing about it was the use of sound. The clicking of a type-writer and the use of different perspectives on the same event was really great very clever and rose it above your average love film.

That new Turin Brakes is supposed to be rather good - been some good reviews in the press over here. Looking forward to giving it a spin later.

At least he's honest about it I guess... but he's got to make some money somehow... perhaps he'd be better off getting camcorders for the use of his songs rather than give the money BACK to Wall-Mart

Had the new Foo's in the car - really liking it... certainly a lot rawer than their previous 2 albums... but their days of doing something very different have long gone.

Currently keeping my feet all snug and warm: Though I'm fond of my Doc Martins as well: And I'm trying to find a pair of these:

It's great... they're even touring the UK at the end of the year!
