Yeah, the Art Brut record has really, really grown on me. What do you think of that Mark? The first listen didn't hit me, but the second knocked me out... great stuff. Rich is listening to Malcolm Middleton's new album A Brighter Beat - the guy from Arab Strap.

Battles - Mirrored... Still the best thing I've heard all year, followed (very, very closely) by The National - Boxer. I've liked a lot of other stuff this year, but those two records are dominating my ipod at the moment.

It's You Say Party! We Day Die! album Lose All Time. It's not bad, could be grouped into the Nu-Rave thing, bit like CSS but without the ideas. This morning:

Yeah, it begin slowly and very much aimed at kids and has now turned into something very different. Brilliant way of bringing you-know-who back into it as well... be interesting to see how The Doctor deals with him, I don't think anyone else has really challenged him for a long time, bad guy wise. Bring on next week!

I just wanted to pop in to say last nights episode of Doctor Who was absolutely amazing!! This series has really picked up in the last couple of episodes... guess who's back?!?!

I really am loving this...

I've still not quite made my mind up about it - some of the tracks really work for me, others leave me reaching for the skip button. I think it's better than Satan - I prefer it when they kick out and rip off the Led Zep riffs.... we'll see, I'll form a full opinion of this yet

I thought he was good on Jools Holland last week in the UK, especially taking the piss out of Jools for his piano playing on other peoples tracks... But he has gone to look a bit scary - rumours abound about him having a wig and it's not his own hair!

Oh yes - my favourite track on the album - I was listening to it on repeat last night, it really is something else... Not sure who's the vocalist (I'm not a Neko or NP expert), but her voice is amazing.
