Hola,

I've got the intro to Hell Is Chrome on piano down pretty well, I was wondering if anyone had the general chord progression that the piano part has starting with the initial "come with me..."

it will save me a lot of figuring-it-out-by-ear-time if you can help.

anyone?

Hola,

I've got the intro to Hell Is Chrome on piano down pretty well,

You think you can show us how you're doing it? I haven't been able to translate the chords into something on the piano that really sounds like the right way.

Here's what I do for the solo - I think you need a whammy bar to do it right, since I don't have one, I'm going for something close if not perfectly the same. (Instead of bending up to the note as I do., I think Tweedy is hitting the note and detuning it down with the whammy bar)There's another version posted in the archives that is very similar.

ive got the solo down pretty well. Having a prunes and custard helps, but I'm sure you can get that same type sound without one. Ill work on tabbing it out soon....

no there is no whammy bar needed...and its not that heavily processed....that swooping sound that is so mesmorizing is actually two guitars (one is feeding back) more on this later

Are you saying there are two guitars playing the solo live?

Listened to it again, you're absolutely right. There are two guitars, an I think one is slightly out of tune with the other during some parts (you can hear the beat frequencies) On the last phrase they're playing different lines - I'd love to see what you have for the solo.
