What's this NPR interview, he didn't really say that did he? What happened, I don't remember nothing bad happening....Maybe being my first Wilco show I missed something? loraaw
I thought Asheville was the show (actually both shows) where he picked up the little girl from the audience for Hummingbird? All the reviews made it should like a really touching moment, and a good show I wish I'd been at. I fell in love when w/Asheville when I was there last summer, but unfortunately not at the same time as either of those Wilco shows. Missed that NPR interview. Is it still around? Can someone post a link?

Maddie Hope
I think THEY are fucking with us. Yeah... I think they are... I for one loved Asheville... A magicial night as were Athens, GA... but later on was some tough shit, to say the least... Jacksonville I would have 3rd roll seats 'shit',but all for a reason... all a season... I don't think there is a issue with Asheville...if ever you need a venue, well I could tell you of some wonderous hideaways...Seems DNC/Kevn knows them all, if only to see Jeff or Jeff and boys...One can do some 'wishful thinking'... brianjeremy
There was this one thing about Asheville though. One year, Tweedy did an interview with some paper/magazine after the show. He said some shit about Ryan Adams and it's been used as canon fodder ever since.
OOO
I can confirm that I was making it all up, yes.
