He gave me a copy of Jay's forthcoming CD, as well as CD by a band from Iowa City called Death Ships. He said that Jay will be touring in the fall, with Death Ships opening and then also playing as Jay's band.Sounds nice! hoping that might hit the Indy area (Music Mill,perhaps? ) Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Smokestack Joe Posted September 3, 2006 Share Posted September 3, 2006 ive seen jay twice, a few weeks right after he was let go in wilco and also on the day YHF was released. He and burch were playing in madison and said that they were listening to YHF in the car and was quite happy with it. At least when i saw him perform, Jay was great and fun and a pleasure to be around. nice guy, sort of feel bad from him. He is an incredible talent. i love his music.
