M. (hristine
I might have to go back to bed and take a nap after reading all of this. I love sleeping in the night. Also: I miss Fakeliz too. And teh gershon. And teh charlos and Bethanydear. And others who have RTTed and moved on. *sigh*

Sweet creamy Jesus.where is gershon, and is fakeliz living somewhere with no internet? why couldn't she just live with you forever?!
M. (hristine
I believe gershon is still in northern Jersey, liberating the world, word by word. Fakeliz is working her ass off, literally, at Boulevard Brewing Co, liberating the world beer by beer. Going to bed early to be at work by 5:30 AM. She couldn't live with me forever because she had the worst commute in all of Christiandom from my house.
Albert Tatlock
in all of ChristendomI had to correct that, since it is a favourite saying of mine.Plus I don't often get the chance to correct you. EDIT - News for yuo - 200 year old seeds germinated at Kew today (it was on the radio). Can't remember what type of plant. I know tulips, daffodils, roses, lilies, grass, err, that's about it. "The three successes are a legume, Liparia villosa, and two species not yet identified, one a protea and the other an acacia." What a wonderful story! Old seeds. Thank you Andrew. I still wish to live at Kew. Thank's for the correction, too. That was one I honestly didn't know.

M. (hristine
Some intense stratification for those seeds: "The Cape region is regularly visited by fire, which is a signal to germinate. So scientists mimicked the effects of fire by chipping off the hard coats of some seeds, and bubbling smoke over others."
Albert Tatlock
I wonder if Kew has a special man who has to go around sporadically taking a leak in the gardens. Maybe they just leave it up to visitors who get caught short to do it for them. All good gardens need that don't they?
