owl
It's a(n awesome) Tweedy song. There are no confirmed lyrics. The 5/16 version is, by far, the best out of two that I'm aware of. There is one other version (I think) from his most recent solo tour. I don't have it anymore. There really isn't any information on it. Let's hope it winds up on the new CD. parisisstale
He played it on 11/17/05 as well. One of the highlights of that show. I'll post a link when I get a minute.

jethro
i disagree that the 5.16 version is better. The 11/13/2005 performance is better since the 5/16/2003 show was his first post-surgery show, but I much prefer the 5/16/2003 version. That whole show is pretty great with all of the new at the time songs. It also has the lyrics switched around a bit: my words blow like bags down alleysmy words buy modest homesmy words roll across meadowsmy words tilt backwards down staircases I like the way "backwards down staircases" sounds much more than "backwards up staircases". I'm guessing he didn't want to have two "my words down " lines, but he should.
Guest tandylacker
11/13 sound quality is definitely better, incision or no incision...

a.miller
here in salt lake about two or three years back. Was it Grey Matter? It seems like the amount of wilco coverage in this town is quite little.
