gogo
I know there's already a really good Giving Thanks thread over in the random forum, but I think some people don't even stick their noses in there. So Umm-ers, re-post here if you like. There are some very nice posts over there. But for me, first of all: thanks to all of you. And for: Good health: both physical and mental, my own and the people around me. It's a fragile and precious thing, so if you've got it, do what you can to keep it; and if you don't, do what you can to make it better. Family: I'm ridiculously lucky to have the family I have, and I take them for granted far more often than I should. Friends: I've been amazed and inspired by my friends this year, some of whom are making conscious efforts to make happy lives for themselves and their children, despite suffering indescribable pain and loss this year. I don't know if I could do what they've been doing, but it's a beautiful thing to witness. Yeah, those three things really cover most of the bases, don't they? And of course for all the other good stuff:
cryptique
And of course for all the other good stuff: As for me, along with the stuff I posted in the other thread, I am also thankful that I finally seem to have found a new chiropractor that I like. It may not sound like much, but this is going to end up being very important.

parisisstale
A good chiropractor is the best thing anyone (even if you don't necessarily have back problems) can have. "The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease". Thomas Edison "Look well to the spine for the cause of disease". Hippocrates Sorry...I can never pass up an opportunity to extol the virtues of regular chiropractic care. I'm thankful that my step-father decided to become a chiropractor 25 years ago. I haven't been to medical doctor since. Also thankful for my family, friends, and the new job that I start in a few weeks. Bristol, CT here I come.

Kirbster
I love Thanksgiving, but half the time I can't stand all this mooshy-gooshy, so I'll just say I'm thankful and let it sort itself out
