WilcoFan
I'm fed up with CNN's trend towards more entertainment news and less substance. In addition, do they actually type out words anymore? Everything is a video now. Can someone recommend a reputable place to get the news online?

cryptique
I just created my own Google homepage and customized it to show whatever news feeds I want. Also, I have the BBC International RSS feed as a button on my bookmarks toolbar.
Nonlinear Nonfiction
I've been reading a brand new webbased publication called Politico. I believe it was started by some bigshots who left the Washington Post, but you can read the "about" section for yourself. Check it out, it's focus is on Washington but it's definitely a fresh go. owl
Christian Science Monitor is a good place to go for even-handed commentary articles. Otherwise, I just subscribe to Reuters and Yahoo's RSS feeds.
