So I set my alarm this morning to try and get tickets.

Then while I'm clicking and waiting for the minutes on the clock to turn, I realize that the show is on TUESDAY, not SATURDAY as I had initially anticipated when I first heard about the Warsaw show last month. I was so dead set on the show being on Saturday, that even after they announced it, I didn't realize it was Tuesday until right now.

And I can't go. I leave on Tuesday for tour.

I hope they still add SOMETHING on Saturday!

Already going to Merriweather, Red Bank, Northampton, & Hammerstein...

arrrgh well that was an exercise in futility. 10:02 sold out--it seemed like I waited forever to get through, the site must have been bombarded (and I'm on a T-1 line here!)

I'd be more upset if I didn't have Hammerstein tix. Still...would have so preferred to see them in my home town of Brooklyn! (And I won't be able to be online for the tix at the box office.) Oh well, Hammerstein it is!

That was fun. As of 10:01 there were no tickets left. How may were set aside for presale?
Typically, Wilcoworld gets 10% of the venue to sell at presale.

Somebody said earlier that the Warsaw holds 800. So, 80 went in the presale, probably.

There probably wasn't a shipping option, this looks like it's going to be an all will-call show.

I have to admit, I really wish I hadn't read your post!

But, I'm happy for you. :cheekkiss

Normally I'd take a ride down and get in line for tickets but at 1pm on Saturday I'll be making my final wedding arrangements. This damn wedding is ruining everything! :P

Ok, let's all move on with our lives and discuss what time we need to arrive on Saturday morning and which venue seems like the best place to be. I want to go to this show as much as anybody, but I am not sure I have it in me to show up at the crack of dawn and sit on the sidewalk for 6 hours.

What time are people thinking of arriving? What seems like the better place to be - Warsaw or Irving?

"Someone told me that Warsaw is going to have the bulk of the tickets and not Irving so looks like its Warsaw Fri night for me."

found this posted on BrooklynVegan.

i believe this news.

go to Warsaw, y'all.

jhh, sorry man. i unfortunately won't be able to buy tickets on Saturday because i'm off to Chicago for work.

which is why i decided to try out the presale.

someone do this guy a favor.

ANYONE. haha.

but yeah, my apologies dude.

I actually called the box office at Irving Plaza and they told me that there will be an equal amount of tickets/vouchers at each location. That doesn't mean that it's true - just what they said. What time are people thinking of showing up?
