jhh4321
Definitely nothing new but I still though it was a good song. I'm pretty excited for this album.
airtaco
Good but definitely not great. I'm still pumped for the new record, as I thought the songwriting on Antics was sharper than on the debut.
solace
decent song, but doesn't excite me for the new record at all.. as much as i like Interpol, it appears as though their lyrics will never improve enough to not bother me
Azzurri
decent song, but doesn't excite me for the new record at all.. as much as i like Interpol, it appears as though their lyrics will never improve enough to not bother me what, you mean the line "You wear those shoes like a dove..." is not brilliant? yeah, i know where you are coming from...it's hard to look past such stupid lyrics sometimes. that said, i heard a live version of another new song, Pioneer, and it was much better than this one. solace
their lyrics are just so abstract and sometimes comical though that i get a kick out of their absurdity sometimes. but i just get annoyed at people who treat their lyrics like they're some deep/dark meaningful shit, when in fact it's mostly random. sometimes they're at least clever though. Chendizzle
I think the music on both albums more than compensates for Banks's crappy lyrics
solace
first one yes, Antics, besides 4-5 songs, was rather a let down for me. didn't have as energetic stuff as Obstacle nor as somber/gorgeous stuff as NYC or Untitled.

Welsh Rich
It's not bad... Not sure I like the start of the track, but it ends well... the lyrics are still duffers though!
solace
The Doors?
OOO
I was absolutely head over heels in love with their first album and now i feel like they are floating just somewhere above mediocre...
Chendizzle
I listened to Antics today. I like it front to back and think it's a solid pop record. But the highs on TOTBL make it better for me.
Wilco LP #7
this song sucks hard
airtaco
Anyone who thnks the Doors are deep is a severely misguided. This is face, so don't bother arguing.
