Clouds of Fluff
Ohhhh, I thought it was "Happy sluts have changed my pants"... (thanks. thanks a lot. i hope you're happy with what you've done to my favorite song on SBS. now I'm just going to have to go bask in the guitars of Impossible Germany or something to put this whole thing behind me....) Wilco Worshipper
So my almost 11 yr old daughter yells to me from the shower "That line 'The more I think about, the more I know it's you' is STUCK IN MY HEAD!!!" Coolness, I think
Guest ChooChooCharlie
I'm living rent freein the back of your head!I honestly can't even imagine a better way to say "No matter what I do, I can't get you off my mind" (at least that's how I've always interpreted it). To be a fly on the wall of his brain during JT's personal writing process..SOOOOO well written!! Edit: Wait reverse that.."YOU just can't stop thinking about ME". It's so damn clever! And I should Take Care! The placement of that line completely makes the song for me. When you hear it in context with the rest of the verse, you can just see the song's subject with telephone receiver in hand, audible dial tone resonating in the backround, staring at it after the second party has already hung up. kinda like that after shot you see in soap operas, when the person on the other line has just been emotionally punched in the stomach. Jesusetc84
"Impossible Germany" gets stuck in my head sometimes. I love the sort of Steely Dan meets Television feel to it.

Wilco Worshipper
Ref: "Walken" And NOW the 11 yr old asks me to skip ahead to "the guitar part" and then SHE, yes SHE, jams out with her air guitar...oh how I LOVE LIFE!!!
Reflectedinthemoon
this is really hard to describe, but i'll say it anyway... that moment in Shake It Off after the main rockin riff when Jeff slides up to that note and everything cools down. The moment is highlighted in the DVD... anyone know what i mean?
What Light?
What Light? is my song off of SBS for sure...............love it!
dondoboy
My favorite isn't even a lyric. Its the just audible screamin the first chorus of Hate it here...goose bumps man.
IndyZen
The placement of that line completely makes the song for me. It is the single most real thing I have ever heard Tweedy sing...in a long list honest lyrics by him.Another fave line on the disc..."All of my maps have been overblown"...like much of the lyrical content on the disc, it is a great image of the change and acceptance of that change that the disc seems so focused on.
