Bob Dylan's Beard
PTI. Let me just say that I'm damned excited about Wilco playing in Southaven, MS. This venue is about 5 minutes from my house. I'm just all, you know, really. I just can't... Okay, ya'll can talk about Madison and Dallas again.Don't worry...I pretty much pissed my pants when I saw that date on the list. I drove 5 hours from Jackson to Atlanta to see the band, and I will definatly not be missing this show for anything. I'm going to school at Ole Miss right now so I'm only about 45 minutes away. I CAN'T WAIT.
Orbit
September 15 will be an ACL Fest aftershow at Stubb's... You sure about this? I haven't found any indication that they are playing an aftershow this year, but if they are I will be seeing them saturday night and the white stripes sunday night at stubbs! BewlayBrother
You sure about this? I haven't found any indication that they are playing an aftershow this year, but if they are I will be seeing them saturday night and the white stripes sunday night at stubbs!I sure about nothing. But I'd be flabbergasted if this weren't the case (do kids still use that word, 'flabbergasted?'). They had aftershows at Stubb's every other year they played at the Festival except the first year, which was a preshow at the Parish. I won't complain if they opt for the Parish this time around, but I'm not holding my breath. Can't wait for the stripey ones on Sunday night, either. Now if only Arcade Fire can squeeze one in on Friday, I'll be a happy hombre.
cash
Us poor new york fans who couldn't get tickets to the three shown they played around here because they sold out to fast never get any shows I'm moving to chicago
Maddie Hope
I'm not from ATL but I am familiar with their venues, and I think you'd have to assume the fabulous Fox or the tabernacleyes the Fox or Tabernacle works for me... I guess venue depends on how many tickets they would like to sell...I wish I had known of the Playhouse show Wilco did or the 40Watt, could you imagine them playing there again?Tixs would be hard to get but WOW if you got in... Maybe someday JT would do a show at the Flicker Theatre or Caledonia's in Athens, up close and personal... He'd just have to figure out how you'd limit the select few that would attend... Just Wishful Thinking again... The last Columbia show was as as is heavenly possible.Where did they play in Columbia?
Maddie Hope
I would hope for the Tabernacle. I love the Fox, but I prefer standing room only, GA shows. And being a stickler for details, I believe Jeff said that they would "be back soon, some place dry." But he did promise.. soon...
Edie
:blushWhere did they play in Columbia? Um.... Missouri Setlist If memory serves, this was the initial unveiling of Walken.

jakobnicholas
Columbia, MO on Sept 19 is nice. Any rumors of a KC or Lawrence date?
oceanman
I'm sure a KC date is in the works,it's not like Wilco is just going to pop in the middle of Missery w/out a few stops on the way.
