MrRain422
Boy, spelled out like that. Wow. That makes Gagne's head look huge.
Lammycat
That makes Gagne's head look huge."Look" huge? And Gabbard will do just fine in TX, too. I bet they'll like the t-shirts down there....
bobbob1313
Love the ASG logos for 2008: Boring trade deadline. The NL East just got a lot tougher. I wish Dontrelle was on the move, though.

Chendizzle
Gagne has thrown 3 playoff innings. And his ERA is 12.00 in the all-star game... Should be interesting to see him on the mound in the Bronx in September. I happen to think he'll be fine and this is a great pickup, but it's gonna be fun. I think maybe the best part of this deal was that the Yanks didn't get Gagne. Should be fun indeed to watch the Sox destroy New York's pen and shut down their offense after the Boston starter comes out.
Lammycat
I think maybe the best part of this deal was that the Yanks didn't get GagneThis is a good point. Even better is that the NYY actually weakened their pen at the same time by dumping Proctor. Speaking of the Bronx: Anybody been keeping up with The Bronx is Burning? Some cheesy stuff in there (especially some of the fake back-drops) but still entertainment worthy for a Tues. night post-game viewing (TiVO).
Sir Stewart
I caught a few minutes of it this week for the first time - I can/can't believe ESPN keeps their scroll crawling across the bottom the whole time.

I haven't noticed that. I don't think it's happening on my recordings. Or maybe I've just become inured by the scroll, I don't know.

benjamin
It's only been like 4 years since they were in the playoffs. It's just that team has had so much drama. Kind of hard to believe. I usually cheer for the Cubs out of the NL
