roby
Hi all, it was a fantastic night in Torino last wed: the band played really great and was in quiet happy mood. I) was in 2nd row right in front of Jeff. A normal setlist but played with a open heart, with gorgeus rendition of Via Chicago, IATMWLY, IATTBYH, Side with the Seeds and 7 other new songs (either way was the opener). Incredible what happened during the Spiders first hard rock riff: the power went off so the people kept singing the whole riff for about ten minutes with the continuous drumming by Glenn (that was really ON) supported by the other members with various kind of percussions. This was really fun! When power returned, the group finished the song so we had one of the longest Spiders ever (about 20 mins!!!). After the show I was very lucky: I met all the members and talking with them for 20 minutes and they signed my vinyl copy af SBS. It seems that will be another pair of shows in Italy in October or late Fall, word of Jhon Stirratt. Bye All! Robymrt.

Bubs101
I was working in Milan at the time and found out Wilco was playing on my birthday, yay, so I got two day's of to see him and bright eyes. But as I'm Irish, I also wanted to get wasted for my birthday, it's a cultural thing, so I brought a bottle of vodka. Got front and centre, started speaking to a few like minded wilco fans who found out it was my birthday and started buying me pints so I was content to leave the Vodka for another day...................... Then came the support act, they drove me to the bottle so I was very drunk by the time Wilco came on. I requested Casino Queen alot, then got wildly sick standing front and centre. Jeff spent 2 minutes talking bout me at the gig so it was a bit of a result for me and the bouncers waited till the end of the show before carting me to the ambulance..... with my T-shirts. Was a terrible mistake

MIKEPUA
WOW, I'm embarrassed for you. Not really, I have found myself in this position before, a little too gun-ho and ready for the show. I have learned to tone that down recently. Although I will say this year I saw Roger Waters on my b-day and drank too much. I didn't find myself painting the lawn with vomit, but the experience wasn't all that pleasant the next day. I feel for you. The ambulance ride must have been fun.....at least you didn't lose your t-shirts
