Stefanie
i've heard it with the full band and jeff solo. it was amazing, of course.
Wendy
AAAaahhhhhh yes ... love it! I've heard it performed a handful of times over the years. And you are so right -- it's soooo good live. Really one of my favorites because of this: ... the parts of that song where Jeff and John have perfect timing on their vocals. Especially this part of the song that goes: When I forget how to talk, I sing Just stunning.
isadorah
i've only heard it by Jeff solo, now that you mention it, would love to hear the full band do that one live. it is one of my favorites!

froggie
saw it back in 2003 with the full band. i was hoping for it before the show. i'd be one of those people that cheers when the G, D, B, G, A, B harmonica line comes in. its so simple, but effective with the rest of the song. just checked wilcobase, its been performed 276 times since 1997

Stefanie
i freakin' love the harmonica in that song. when i saw jeff solo he was like, "really, the harmonica is not that big of a deal in this song! it's nothing to freak out about!" or something along those lines. but i disagree! the harmonica is my favorite instrument for some reason. i blame it on the fact that i was raised listening to neil young. He said something similar at a show I was at (Wang Theater, Boston - I think) - Someone said, "That was beautiful" and he was like "Actually, that's probably the easiest harmonica part ever...." and then he like broke it down and everyone laughed. Or something like that.....

tugmoose
At their soundcheck in Cleveland in 03 Jeff went up an octave at the end of every verse and left it teetering on the ledge.
