this is lovely. thanks for the headsup, T!

I get to see them next week with Elliott Brood. Yippee!

Bridg - Saw OX last night in a great room with like 10 other people. Talked to Mark Browning and Brian Dunn (the bassist/backup vocals) for what seemed like forever. What a great band.

They told me they are about 1/2 way through writing the 3rd album, but need to find a studio, sooooo I got them to consider coming back to here and using the house of miracles, which they thought was a great idea. They didn't even seem to mind my request to pop by if they actually end up using the studio.

so NP:

'Been on mainstreet

Been on everystreet

I've been high and I've been low'

Todd - love King khan, Dirtbombs, cobras etc. Good choice!

We must be on the same wavelength because I was just thinking this morning how I haven't listened to that OX album for quite a while. I think I'll have to throw that on next. Here's hoping they find some studio space, make another great album, and come touring to Colorado - you can convince them when you pop in... :lol

Okay I will. They were talking about doing a European tour later this year and then through the states, ending up at SXSW.

I suggested the Bottletree in Alabama and will try to put them in touch with Leah. Do have any suggestion for where they would play in Colorado?

Thanks Bridg!

Back to the Two Minute Miracles and their song Conjoined from

Whatever we share now we dream of normal love

Whatever we talk about we dream of normal love

Lies are not above

Considering we share a love that's tempting

Pick up your old clay boots, doll

Step on the one haired rule

If it moves

I'll feel it first 'cause you're back by the boots

Lay off the late night rants, doll

If we're whole

I run the heart, while you control the soul.

We're both a little run down

Whatever we have now, we dream of normal love

Really? I think that's the only stinker on it!

Come on, that song is pure sexiness!

Still, as an aside, I just caught myself singing, "Got no income tax, no VAT, no money-back, no guarantee" to the intro to Weird Fishes/Arpeggi.

I've been singing "I get eaten by the worms...AND WEIRD FISHES!" all day.
