Guest Left Arm Tan
anyone heard that tom morello solo album - the nightwatchmen, or whatever? if so, is it any good? or is it garbage?
fatheadfred
He did an interview on npr and played some songs. They sounded decent. It is just hard to picture him singing instead of Zach...and not going off on his geetar and jumping, etc. anyone heard that tom morello solo album - the nightwatchmen, or whatever? if so, is it any good? or is it garbage? MrRain422
It's not what you would expect, both in the style of the songs, as well as the fact that it is not completely terrible. He has a really deep, rich singing voice, which I cannot decide if I love or hate. Anyway, it's decent, but not great.

aricandover
isn't it "The Nightwatchman"?
borracho
i saw him open for Ben Harper this summer and it was just ehhhh. he seems to be trying too hard to be Woody Guthrie or 60's-era Bob Dylan... biggest response of the night was when he played Guerilla Radio... Guest Left Arm Tan
isn't it "The Nightwatchman"? does it seriously matter? anyway, it sounds like the general consensus is it's worth giving a listen to, at the very least. thanks.

solace
it's worth checking out for the song "The Road I Have Traveled" alone
dannygutters
I didn't really like it, too much of it seemed self referential. But hey give it a listen i guess, he does some woody stuff.
explodo
it's worth checking out for the song "The Road I Have Traveled" aloneI thought this was very cheesy sounding. It is the one with the video where he sits in a chair with a guitar right?
