bigshoulders
I'm super curious to know if the last two dates Pittsburgh and Charlottesville (not counting the festival date in Louisiana) will have an opener or not?No mention on the official website and no word yet on VC that I've found. cheers,b.s. fiveleavesleft
i heard a rumor that Fionn Regan is opening for pitt and charlottesville, i really hope its true but the lack of official announcements is worrying me.
you ever seen a ghost?
sometimes i like it when there are no openers. i guess the opener has to be an artist who i've heard before and liked before i'll get even remotely excited... -justin
bigshoulders
just to bump it up a bit...still no official word at the Wilco HQ or the coliseum site. wouldn't hurt my feelings if they had no opener at all, but then again, they've picked some quality acts. i.e.: A. Bird. Just wish he could hold on for those last two dates. cheers,b.s.
DAngerer09
I'm not going to these shows, but I think Fionn Regan would be a terrific opener.
fiveleavesleft
yea, fionn regan isn't as big of a name as most of the openers but I think that he would be appreciated. I really hope there is an opener, more music for your money especially if its fionn regan.

Melissa
More music for my money? Hell no, I want all the Wilco time I can get! I mean, I have nothing against Fionn Regan (as long as he keeps me awake more than Low did) but I would be much happier to have a 100% Wilco show.
lukadiesel
when i saw them last year at wvu, there was no opener. jeff even commented that they don't do very many " an evening with wilco" shows, but he liked it. i agree as well. i don't want to bother with anything else but wilco. of course, i just saw andrew bird last week & it was amazing. i wish he was playing pittsburgh again. DAngerer09
Yeah, the WVU show was great. All Wilco, all the time.

As one who tends to line up early for a GA show, this would definitely shave some time off standing around before Wilco comes on. Maybe I'll meet some other VC'ers in line. That would be a bonus. cheers,b.s.
jimtweedy1977
I could really be happy either way, I'm just happy they're coming back to Charlottesville. I thought I would post my fantasy setlist. These are always fun to do. Gobias Industries
Damn, that's a 29-song setlist. It's been awhile since they've cranked out ones that long...

Maggie
Anyone have a guess/estimate as to what time Wilco will hit the stage if we end up with no opener in Pittsburgh? What time do they normally start with an opener?
