bigshoulders
Last night, I got around to watching the recording of this week's episode of "Bionic Woman". I'm still on the fence whether I like the show or not, but my ears pricked up during several scenes from the episode, as it featured songs from SBS. "Sky Blue Sky" and "What Light". Very subtle, and scene-appropriate. cheers,b.s.
viatroy
yep, I heard it, but I didn't really want to admit I watched the Bionic Woman. The show pretty much sucks.

Analogman
when can i obtain action figures from this show? they might be worth something in 30 years. I wish I still had my Lee Majors "action figure". I think he ended up being blown up clean in half by a gun at some point. I think as a result of the success of Lost/Stargate Les Paul/Battlestar Remakeica/Heros - networks are trying to come up with mysteriso/sci-fi shows to get their piece of the pie. Hence - Pushing Daisies/Journeyman/New Amsterdam (Highlander)/Moonlight (Forever Knight)/Bionic Woman/and whatever Sci-Fi comes up with.

Analogman
I am looking forward to New Amsterdam. We have to wait until Feb for Lost. I was rather a fan of the Highlander show. And soon as 180 bucks falls from the sky, I shall own every episode on dvd.I would rather see this sort of thing than another CSI/Law and Order or some shitty sitcom - that's for sure. ponch1028
So far, Pushing Daisies and Chuck are my two favorite new shows. Last week, Chuck used Spoon's "Don't Make Me a Target" throughout the episode, and I thought it was well used.
Analogman
I guess this becoming common now - I must be old - as I prefer the music made by the groovy studio cats that use to be made for TV shows.
bjorn_skurj
Yeah. That 1970s car-chase funky music was the best.

I had totally forgotten about my 6 Million Dollar Man doll! With the forearm that peeled back to show his 'wiring' and the hole in the back of the head so you could look out the telescope eye! I really wish you hadn't brought this up, because now I miss him terribly. I don't know what became of him either. My Evel Knievel dolls (I think I had all 3 - red, white and blue) are the same story. Probably ended up in a garage sale. Pushing Daisies is my new favorite show. Seeing as I haven't watched a series in years it wasn't hard for it to sneak in there, but it did take quite a bit to actually get me to turn it on in the first place. Also, Channel 101 on DirecTV was re-running last year's episodes of Dexter. Now I wish I had Showtime! I love that show!
