Hello there Brad. Congrats.

Arkansas 81

#18 Vandy 75

Yes! It was weird seeing a Razorback team make free throws at the end of a game. they made 9 in a row at one point. The real story was Arkansas' domination of the offensive glass.

I'm really bumming that I'm here in ACC land and wont find any SEC tourney games on tv until the final. Here's hoping Kentucky will still be around then. I went to the '95 championship in Atlanta with Kentucky and Arkansas in the final. That game was one for the ages. Of course I'm sure it stung like hell in Arkansas.

Yes. 95 sucked. 94 was ok though.

So has anyone else heard about the weirdness going on at the SEC tourney right now?An indoor weather delay. Piece of the building have been damaged. Who knows what they'll do if its determined that the building is unsafe. Very, very weird.

Update:

ATLANTA -- A severe storm ripped two holes in the side of the Georgia Dome during the Southeastern Conference tournament, halting the Alabama-Mississippi State and sending fans fleeing for the exits.

The teams were sent to the locker room while those who remained at their seats looked anxiously toward the roof. The game was stopped with Mississippi State leading 64-61 with 2:11 left in overtime.

It wasn't immediately known if a tornado struck the 16-year-old building, though a roaring noise was heard inside when the storm struck.

"I thought it was a tornado or a terrorist attack," said Mississippi State guard Ben Hansbrough, who was guarding Alabama's Mykal Riley when a rumbling noise was heard from above.

Both teams stopped and looked toward the Teflon-coated Fiberglas fabric roof, which is designed to flex slightly during high wind, but was rippling heavily in the storm, much like waves rolling toward the shore.

National Weather Service officials were unsure if a tornado caused the damage, but wind was clocked at up to 60 mph as the storm moved through the city.

Thousands of fans were downtown for two sporting events. An NBA game between the Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Clippers was going on at next door at Philips Arena.

Several fans and at least one reporter on press row said metal bolts and washers fell from the ceiling, though there were no immediate reports of injuries. A pipe ripped a hole in the roof.

I understand that the SEC did the best they could under some trying circumstances, but Kentucky's loss today, should only count as half a loss. If it was in the Georgia dome, their massive fan base would'vd made it overwhelmingly in their favor. Nonetheless I feel good about an 7 or 8 seed. More excitingly Duke is down 9 to Clemson with 16 left.

That was rough. But at least we won't have to get worn out playing another game tonight. Be more ready for the NCAA. Crawford's second efforts on offense were pretty impressive, though.

Arkansas and Georgia in the SEC finals... wouldn't have picked that a week ago. Especially with UGA winning twice in one day... weird tourney all around.

I thought Va Tech played a heckuva game against UNC. They deserve to get in. They can win a couple big games.

And yes, watching Duke's loss to Clemson was pure joy.

What a brilliant day of college basketball. The SEC tournament is absolutely insane. The Kentucky non call on the charge at the end of the Georgia game really sucked, but Georgia played with tremendous heart in both games, wow. Arkansas is rolling, what a finish in that one. But I gotta go with Georgia tomorrow, seeing that Arkansas is now a lock, I'd like to see Georgia pull out the improbable. I thought VA Tech had UNC beat, but of course that big ass white boy was gonna make that shot. Better enjoy it now Hansbrough because you'll never be more than a twelfth man in the NBA. Clemson made me smile though. I think all of these upsets have doomed VCU's at large chances though. What a crazy day.

What did I do to you? :stunned

You did nothing. I mean freakin' John Pelphry is a god to Kentucky fans. I still have nightmares about the Duke Kentucky game in '92 that ended the careers of Pelphry, Richie Farmer, Sean Woods and Deron Feldhaus. We could win 15 championships, but it'll never be enough to erase that game. So yeah I'm rooting for him, but Georgia being sub-500 and playing those two games yesterday was pretty amazing. I'm sure Arkansas will win, but if Georgia were to win, both teams would get in to the big tournament. Have a great game.

C'mon Clemson. 20 minutes away from pulling off the Duke NC exacta. That sure would be cool.

Is Georgia for real or what? How do they have any legs left. They are a frickin' 500 team and are up 15 on Arkansas. Pretty unbelievable.
