jesus et cetera
it's no news or surprise that the government lies and uses the media to its benefit. it's not exclusive to one event. this is the stuff of internet boards, i assume?
Sweet Papa Crimbo
No, I just meant don't believe everything you hear and see...question authority (in ANY case, not just about this) especially people who are proven liars. Just leave room for other ideas. I haven't decided where I stand on this. I'm just gathering information and asking questions, that's all   And goodness know the internet is the best place for that...stet away from the computer NOW

Szabo
I can't agree with Loose Change and other conspiracy documentaries. Any sort of catastrophe of this scale, involving as many people as 9-11, is going to have enough coincidences for a plausible conspiracy theory. I agree, some of the coincidences made me think twice; the blasts in the buildings as they were collapsing, the millions of dollars removed from the basement of the smaller building an hour before it collapsed, why that smaller building collapsed at all, and the insurance policy. There are just too many players involved for this to be kept a secret. In this day in age, anyone can make millions writing a book, or leaking their story. The gov't would have to go to considerable measures to cover something like this up, and at this point I don't think they have the resources to do so. Take it as it is, we got attacked, our inelegances was fooled, and now we're in a war for the wrong reasons. But we will control a shitton of the worlds oil supply, which is diminishing rapidly. Ugh. ZenLunatic
Bush planned 7-11. I have proof.
boywiththorninside
Bush planned 7-11. I have proof. Few people know that the Carlyle Group invested heavily in the development of, and now draw profits from, both the Big-Gulp and the Slurpee.

boywiththorninside
The commuter rail bombing in Mumbai? London too. EDIT: I wasn't trying to make light of either of the above (London, Mumbai) when making my convenience store "joke." I apologize if I was unfamiliar with the "7-11" terminology. I'm American, I'm only used to hearing about 9-11. When I saw 7-11, my immediate thought was that Zen was making a joke. Again, I didn't mean to be insensitive. Sorry. I'm embarrassed for being the self-absorbed American.
Sir Stewart
I think you interpreted Zen's post correctly.
ZenLunatic
I think you interpreted Zen's post correctly. Yeah it was a joke. Like do you know what time is it in India right now?  7:11 on the dot. Thank you, come again.

ZenLunatic
Sorry for the deversion. To get back on topic, some of the movies Ive seen about 9-11 being a inside job are way over the top. I like them cause they make people think and question the government and I do believe there are some coverups for whatever reason. But to believe that we would do this to ourselves or let this happen is too much to believe for me. Case closed.
MrRain422
I've heard it speculated that these 9/11 conspiracy theories may in fact be fueled by the adminstration, as the more time people spend on false conspiracy theories, the less time they are spending paying attention to the real crimes that are being committed, for which there is much more evidence. MrRain422
I didn't say it was my theory. And I haven't seen South Park in like 3 or 4 years.
ikol
Oh, well they had an episode where that was pretty much the theory.
